World War II Wrecks of Truk Lagoon
Simply put - the definitive book on Truk Lagoon. Bailey has written a wreck classic. This book is loaded with over 100 black and white historical photographs, 150 color dramatic underwater photographs, and 173 maps and illustrations.

Bailey documents in detail the Japanese invasion of Truk and the build-up if its forces into a naval base. Bailey also delves into the attack against the Japanese ships, aircraft, and battery installations (Operation Hailstone). This book not only details the history of each wreck, but also includes important diving notes – a section that discusses the deterioration, depth, penetration, and technical information of each wreck.

Also included are equipment and weaponry types, Japanese system of nomenclature, diving operations, wreck deterioration, munitions removal, and technical diving.

The definitive book on the wrecks of Palau. Bailey has written a masterpiece interwoven with 60 black and white photos, 36 fantastic color plates (9 ½ x 13 ½ photos), and scores of maps and illustrations in this hardbound, oversized publication.

Bailey dives deep into the Japanese occupation of Palau and the many island installations, the air campaign against Palau (Operation Desecrate One, Operation Snapshot, and Operation Stalemate II), and of course, the many wrecks that lay on the bottom of the sea. Rabaul's Forgotten Fleet
On January 23, 1942, during the Second World War, the Japanese, in need of a base for its navy and army, invaded Rabaul, Papua New Guinea. After three years of bombardment by Allied troops, the Japanese troops at Rabaul surrendered. Fifty shipwrecks were all that remained.

Although not as well known as Truk Lagoon, Rabaul is home to the remains of magnificent wrecks. Documented here are 15 shipwrecks and aircraft supplemented by archival photos, excellent underwater photos, and ship deck plans. This book is a must for any naval historian (amateur or professional) or wreck diver interested in the Pacific Theatre.
